At Moose Lake Resort, you are surrounded
by 40+ acres of private, awe inspiring, natural beauty. We are located on
a 1150 acre lake, that is exceptionally clean and has an
outstanding reputation with anglers.
Upon your arrival, you will find your cabin to be
exceptionally clean and well cared for,
which includes freshlywashed bed linens
after every stay, so that you can begin
to relax immediately!
Moose Lake and Little Moose Lake, northwest of Grand Rapids and
north of Deer River, MN, are Muskie waters that also produce
very nice Walleye and Northern Pike. Moose Lake's reputation
for producing 30- to 40-pound Muskies is well known
by the locals. Anglers can also find plenty of Walleye and Small
Mouth Basson Moose by working the numerous underwater
islands, bars and points.
The lakes' forage bases and general ecological makeup seem to provide
conditions for large fish sizes. There are also fair numbers of Jumbo Perch
and Panfish. Moose Lake has a maximum depth of 61 feet with a median
depth of 30 feet. It has a shorelength of 6.7 miles.
At Moose Lake Resort, we offer almost unlimited amounts of
recreation. We offer free kayaks, canoe and paddleboat for your
enjoyment. The kids will love our "old style" playground equipment,
assortment of balls and other outside games. A pontoon can be
rented for a day or week for fishing or just
touring Moose Lake for relaxation. Enjoy water skiing and
many other activities right here at
the resort or visit many of our area interests.
