Deposit Policy: A deposit of $200 is required to reserve each cabin per week. Please make checks payable to Moose Lake Resort. Deposits are applied to the last day of your stay. Deposits are not refundable if part or all of your reservation is cancelled after March 1, 2007. For all cancellations received prior to March 1, a $75 booking fee will be retained. You are responsible for your entire reservation cost upon cancellation after March 1 and upon early departure once your arrival. Check In/Check Out: All guests and visitors must check in at the front office upon arrival. We ask that guests settle rental fees with us Friday evening prior to their Saturday morning departure. Unless prior arrangements have been made, please allow us time to ready your cabin and plan to arrive and depart at stated times. Check in time: 3:00pm. Check out time: 8:30am. No credit is given for early departures. No-Smoking as of October 1, 2007: All cabins are non-smoking, effective with the October 1, 2007, MN smoking ban law. For everyones enjoyment and health, we ask that all smoking be done outside the cabins please. Provisions: We provide bed linens, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, microwave,stove, refrigerator, drip coffee maker, toaster and charcoal grill. Guests provide bath and dishtowels, personal items and food. Dog Policy: (No cats or other pets please!) For enjoyment of all guests, dogs are welcome only by prior arrangement and necessity. We do not allow aggressive dogs. Our fees are comparable to dog kenneling to encourage use of local dog kennel. You are responsible to keep them leashed at all times and to pick up after them when on the premises. They are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture and are not to be left unattended in the cabins or tied up by stakes. Because of this, we recommend you bring a portable kennel. This has worked well for our guests. We reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by any pet. For enjoyment of all of our guests, exception to any policy above will not be tolerated. Sales Tax: All rental fees are subject to 6.5% Minnesota sales tax and applicable lodging taxes. Jet Skis, ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles:: In order to maintain solitude for our guests, we do not allow jet skis, dirt bikes, motorcycles or ATV's. Tenting/RVs: We do not allow tenting or RVs by cabins for extra sleeping room. Office & Store: The store is closed on Saturday until 3:00pm to allow us time to ready your cabin. Please plan to arrive after that time. A small amount of necessities, as well as souvenirs are available for purchase in the store; Ice, Milk, Bread, Eggs, Buns, S'More Ingredients, Schwans Ice Cream Treats, Frozen Pizza.
